- Mayor visit to our community council is Aug 5
- Neighborhood cleanup schedule announced today. 1300S-2100S:June 28, 700S-1300S:July 19
- Quick update. Very close to completing the first building. Second building has basement done.
- To be completed in November.
- Attempt for house in front to be labeled historic landmark. Not historic but will be preserved.
- Front house needs to be brought up to seismic code. Expensive.
- Front house only allows for 10-12 occupancy.
- Lead based paint to be removed from the front house.
- House is 30x30. Very small. Not a lot of capacity. Limited use. Sitting room. Most amenities are built into the larger buildings.
- Venture will not be a point of access only an emergency access road that will be gated.

- SLC School district is a partner
- 350,000 sq. ft currently. increases footprint by 10,000 sq ft. Mostly remodeling existing under utilized space.
- Brings together many of the different disciplines that function on other campuses.
- Production and studio spaces, TV station, radio station, sound stage, TV studio
- School district building construction begins soon but the main construction starts Oct/Nov. Opens in May 2012
- Mayor is seeking more input on the public safety building Wed Mar 10 5-8:30pm in SLC library 4th floor meeting room

- Mayor 1-on-1 will be held on March 17th from 4pm to 6pm in the City & County Building (451 So State Street). Sign up early on March 10. Call 801.535.7704. Next one will be Saturday April 3rd from 9am to 11am. Reserve your time early on March 24.
